The Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE) was opened in September 2016, and it started holding about 3,500 students and 1,500 researchers and teachers. It now embraces 7 different degrees, (including chemical engineering), tree masters and four doctorate programs.

The school is located in the eastern side of the great city of Barcelona, by the sea. The zone where it is located is constantly growing, partly thanks to the beneficial effect that a university school provides.

The EEBE presents itself as a new referent to the Politecnical University of Catalonia (UPC) in terms of teaching, research and innovation in the field of industrial engineering and its ramifications.

It aims to be consolidated as a high quality academic center in all engineering-related fields and focus them to the XXIst century industries.
